The polis Convention is a renowned event format organised by ‘polis – Magazin für Urban Development’, which brings together experts from municipal building authorities and the property industry. For two days, the Areal Böhler in Düsseldorf is transformed into a lively meeting place where planners and decision-makers discuss the future of urban space.

Full-service agency for the entire trade fair

As a full-service agency, JKR-EVENTS took over the entire management of the trade fair – from preparation and set-up to realisation and follow-up. Special attention was paid to commercial administration and trade fair development. With the help of ERP cloud software and a dedicated hotline, JKR-EVENTS ensured the smooth management of the space and the optimal set-up of the exhibition stands.

The entire trade fair management came together in the dedicated trade fair office. Here, JKR-EVENTS supervised the technical planning of the stage as well as the set-up and dismantling of the infrastructure. As an advisory partner, JKR-EVENTS supported the organiser in all matters relating to organisation, service provider coordination, stage and space planning.

A special highlight and now a trademark of the Polis Convention is the ‘Stadtpark’, a retreat and recreation area in the centre of the trade fair that perfectly reflects the core theme of the event. The innovative interior design with the suspended cube elements from our partner AIRFORMANCE has also established itself as a permanent design feature in the conference and ‘network garden’.

Streaming & Direction

Another core element of our service package was the event management, content management and streaming of the conference programme. With the help of camera technology, video presentations and professional direction, we succeeded in seamlessly conveying the content of the event and reaching a broad audience.

In this way, the Polis Convention was once again able to impressively demonstrate its role as a leading platform for urban development.
